Designed to suit all standard aluminium framing sections, the new ALU-GARD aluminium perforated mesh screening system offers an alternative to all other screening systems without the compromise of unsightly bars.

AluGardALU-GARD have a wide range of products for the following applications:

  • Sliding Doors
  • Sliding Windows
  • Security Screens
  • Patio Frames
The ALU-GARD screen door system has been tested in an approved NATA test rig to Australian Standard AS5041-2003 for hinged security doors.

CDK Screens Alu-Gard - 002

ALU-GARD utilises a strong (2mm thickness) aluminum sheet that is perforated and powder coated to exacting standards.

The sheet is retained in a frame with our riveted aluminium wedge retention system.

The resulting screen is strong, extremely resistant to corrosion and provides clarity of vision.

Bushfire Attack Levels

In the Australian Standards As 3959, they have classified different bushfire intensity levels that a home may experience during a bushfire.

These are referred to as Bushfire Attack Levels, or BAL’s for short.
